The first book has arrived from Greenfly Books: "Bumba the Panda - Learns to Recycle"!
This book is aimed at 2-5 year old children however we have seen interest from 6 and seven year olds in the book. Greenfly Books aim to teach children to be green.
his first book focuses on recycling and has fun, interactive activities and a story throughout the book. It is made of 100% recycled paper and vegetable based inks. It retails at £3.99 but there are good discounts available for business, wholesale etc! Initial feedback has been excellent from parents, nursery school managers, primary school teachers and councils in the Greater Manchester area (http://www.gmwda.gov.uk/).
The book is an excellent teaching aid to tie-in with recycling week (http://www.recyclenow.com/) so if you are involved in promoting recycling to children we see no other book like it out there!
